ICLEI AND UN-HABITAT TO HOST JOINT COP28 MULTILEVEL ACTION & URBANIZATION PAVILION

Summary

Cities and subnational governments are pivotal for climate solutions, yet their voices and contributions often lack sufficient prominence in global climate negotiations. To address this, ICLEI and UN-Habitat are hosting a joint Multilevel Action & Urbanization Pavilion at COP28 in Dubai from 30 November to 12 December 2023. This initiative aims to provide a dedicated platform for local and regional actors to showcase achievements, discuss challenges, and commit to advancing climate action, thereby integrating their efforts more formally into the international climate agenda.
