The Secretariat General of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) faced significant challenges in 2021 due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, which heavily impacted Indonesia's economic growth. Despite this, the Secretariat General implemented its 2021 programs and activities, guided by the 2020-2024 National Medium-Term Development Plan and its own Strategic Plan, focusing on 12 strategic objectives and 25 key performance indicators to achieve energy justice. As a result, the Secretariat General successfully exceeded its average performance targets for 2021, achieving 110.27% of the set indicators and demonstrating a 6.19% improvement compared to 2020.
