Summary

This study investigated the compatibility of common natural gas sealants with hydrogen for downstream domestic and industrial applications. An accelerated ageing test program, lasting 41 weeks, was conducted on various sealants at different temperatures to simulate up to 50 years of use with hydrogen at 150 mbar. The study is now completed, providing key insights into sealant suitability for hydrogen networks.
