Evaluation of the BASEE Programme Evaluation Report

Summary

The UK's BASEE programme aimed to overcome barriers preventing Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) from implementing energy efficiency measures. Eight pilot projects were funded from February 2020 to February 2022, testing various approaches to engage and support SMEs. While around 400 SMEs were engaged, significant energy efficiency actions were not widely reported by the pilots at the time of evaluation, though some works were planned or undertaken by a limited number of participants.
