India Vision 2036-37 – A Macro econometric Approach

Summary

India faces the challenge of developing comprehensive long-term economic projections to guide its growth trajectory towards 2036-37, a year marking 90 years of independence. NITI Aayog is addressing this by undertaking a scientific study to develop scenarios and project key macroeconomic and sector-wise indicators for the next 15 years using various econometric models, including machine learning. This initiative is currently in the draft project report stage.
