38th Annual IPG Symposium Meeting report

Summary

The 38th Annual IPG Symposium, held from May 25-27, 2022, by the University of Missouri’s Interdisciplinary Plant Group, successfully addressed the grand challenge of "Enhancing the Resilience of Plant System to Climate Change." The event brought together 149 participants from 4 countries and 14 US states, including 69 MU students/postdocs, 14 external students/postdocs, 22 MU faculty, and 28 from other institutions. A significant initiative was the participation of 12 individuals (7 students and 5 faculty) from Lincoln University to foster collaborations. The scientific program featured two plenary lectures and five sessions, with approximately half of the invited speakers being early career scientists and 6 talks delivered by students and postdocs, including one undergraduate.
