Summary

South Korea faces a challenge in effectively managing multi-ministerial R&D programs within the Integrated R&D Information System (IRIS) due to the absence of standardized operational and management regulations, leading to inconsistent application of standards across ministries and specialized institutions. This study addresses the issue by standardizing common management criteria for multi-ministerial R&D programs, modularizing management functions to reflect specific institutional characteristics, and developing an actual management program within IRIS. The research and development of this standardization framework and program have been completed, aiming to enhance the effectiveness, efficiency, and data accuracy of R&D project management.
