INFORME CONSULTA PÚBLICA ESTRATEGIA NACIONAL DE TRANSICIÓN SOCIOECOLÓGICA JUSTA 2025-2035

Summary

Chile is addressing the triple planetary crisis (climate, biodiversity, pollution) by developing a comprehensive National Strategy for Just Socioecological Transition (ENTSEJ) for 2025-2035. This strategy aims to ensure social and environmental justice during the country's necessary institutional, social, and productive transformations towards sustainable and resilient development, with a particular focus on decarbonization in affected communities. The public consultation process for the draft strategy was completed between October and December 2024, involving 25 in-person activities and over 700 participants nationwide, and the strategy is now in progress of being finalized and implemented.
