NATIONALLY DETERMINED CONTRIBUTION (NDC3.0) OF MONGOLIA

Summary

Mongolia faces significant challenges from increasing climate change impacts and a high-carbon economy heavily reliant on coal and livestock. To address this, the country has developed its NDC3.0, detailing ambitious mitigation and adaptation targets and actions with a timeframe up to 2035. The overarching goal is to transition to a climate-resilient, low-carbon society, aligning with its 2050 Net Zero target and other national development policies. Implementation of these strategies is currently underway.
