Summary

Energy utilities struggle to identify and prioritize software vulnerabilities that pose actual threats, especially when considering network firewall protections. This project developed the V-INT toolset, which automatically assesses vulnerability risks by integrating firewall policy analysis, asset feature extraction, and AI-driven network service identification. The project is completed, and the toolset has been successfully integrated into commercial cybersecurity products, enabling security operators to efficiently prioritize and mitigate high-risk vulnerabilities.
