The National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) presented an overview of its Cambium database, an annually-updated resource providing forward-looking analysis for the evolving electric grid. The database offers six "business-as-usual" scenarios and two national decarbonization projections, including targets of 95% decarbonization by 2050 and 100% by 2035. Available for 18 regions across the United States, the data supports various analyses, standards like ASHRAE 189.1 and RESNET 301, and decision-making by state/local governments and utilities. The 5th edition of the database is currently upcoming.
