Predicting adoption of agricultural technologies in Indo-Gangetic Region

Agriculture in India's Indo-Gangetic Region faces challenges such as declining soil fertility and low crop productivity. This study applied the ADOPT model to evaluate the adoption of agricultural technology interventions implemented through the Farmer FIRST programme in Haryana. The research found high and rapid adoption rates for technologies related to cereal crops and animal components, suggesting effective advisory systems in these areas, while also recommending improvements for horticultural crop advisories.
