Summary

This document outlines a roadmap to advance heliostat technologies for high-temperature solar-thermal systems, addressing critical technology gaps to achieve cost-effective commercialization. The Heliostat Consortium (HelioCon) published its initial roadmap in 2022 and has since made substantial progress on many identified gaps, including conducting numerous techno-economic studies. The overall initiative to advance these technologies and close remaining gaps is currently in progress.
