This project by the German Environment Agency developed detailed test methods and evaluation criteria for various non-snap traps, including captive bolt, electrocution, and CO2 traps, to provide effective and humane alternatives. The expanded NoCheRo Guidance, finalized in this report, aims to ensure these non-chemical solutions meet high efficacy and animal welfare standards, promoting safer pest control practices.
