Summary

Subnational governments in Malaysia currently lack the capacity and robust plans needed to effectively drive the sustainable energy transition and achieve net-zero goals. To address this, ICLEI Southeast Asia is seeking a consultant to deliver a three-month capacity-building program in Melaka, Malaysia, comprising three training sessions for 45 local and regional government officials focusing on renewable energy basics, financing, and strategic planning. This project is currently in the planning stage, with bids for consultancy services due by February 2025.
