Germany is addressing the challenge of high global warming potential gases SF6 and NF3, which contribute significantly to climate change. This project compiled comprehensive atmospheric data for SF6 across Germany and initiated the first routine measurements of NF3 to better understand their sources and emissions. The project has been completed, yielding insights into regional SF6 hotspots and initial background concentration trends for NF3.
